UBC AskAway Policy Page Update

UBC AskAway Policy page was recently updated and restructured to provide easier navigation and better support for service providers. We’d like to share what has changed and how to navigate the updated page.

There are three different pages: AskAway Policy Page, FAQ and Further information. To view a page, simply click on its name.

  • AskAway Policy Page
    • This is the policy page (main page). We followed BC ELN’s policy page template. We made sure all information and links are up-to-date and removed duplicated information. At the end of this page, we added links that direct users to two other pages: FAQ and Further Information. We have also added 2 tabs to the 2 new pages at the top of the page. 
  • FAQ
    • The FAQ section includes a list of frequently asked questions and sample answers that service providers can refer to. It combines content from both the UBC FAQ and AskAway FAQ, compiled by the UBC AskAway team. Service providers can quickly find relevant questions by using Ctrl + F along with keywords. The page also includes hashtags to help identify the topics covered in the FAQ. Service providers are welcome to copy any of the provided FAQ and add them to their canned messages.
  • Further Information
    • We included some legacy information, such as details about branch closures. This section preserves content that is occasionally asked about, though not frequently.

We hope the updated layout enhances the usability and overall experience of this policy page.
